Thank you for choosing a BALLISTA crossbow (Brand of ZETECH LLC “ZETECH”). We are committed to providing you with a high-quality product. This warranty outlines the terms and conditions of coverage for your crossbow.

1. COVERAGE

ZETECH guarantees the stock, trigger assembly, cocking mechanism, and limbs of your BALLISTA crossbow against defects in materials and workmanship, excluding normal wear, misuse, or improper maintenance as determined by ZETECH.

2. WARRANTY DURATION

This limited warranty is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required before sending your crossbow back to ZETECH.

3. COVERAGE APPLICABILITY

This warranty applies only to BALLISTA crossbows and is non-transferable. It covers the original owner exclusively and cannot be assigned or transferred to any other party.

4. EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover strings, cables, accessories included in the crossbow kit, cosmetic blemishes to parts or finishes, and normal wear and tear. These parts are considered consumable and are subject to conditions typical of regular use. The string and cables should be replaced at least every 1 year under normal wear and tear.

5. VOIDANCE OF WARRANTY

The warranty becomes void under the following circumstances:

• Failure to follow the instructions in the owner’s manual
• Damage or modification to the crossbow or any parts/accessories from their original condition
• Damage caused by abuse, neglect, or dry-firing
• Use of non-recommended crossbolts (including lighter ones than specified in the owner’s manual)
• Rental or loan of the crossbow to others by a retailer, wholesaler, shooting range, or commercial business organization, regardless of any fees charged
• Attempted alteration, dismantling, or changes to the crossbow, except as stated in the owner’s manual
• Failure or damage caused by improper calibration or abnormal use
• Lack of proper maintenance, including the annual inspection by a qualified crossbow dealer as instructed in the owner’s manual
• Use of the crossbow for any purpose other than hunting, bowfishing, or target shooting
• Use of the crossbow in situations that may pose potential risks to life, health, or public safety

6. ZETECH’S RESPONSIBILITY

ZETECH offers the exclusive remedy of repair for any crossbow found to be defective in materials or workmanship. ZETECH reserves the right to determine whether a product is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty after inspecting the returned item. If a defect is confirmed, the crossbow will be repaired using available parts at the discretion of the BALLISTA repair department. If repair is not feasible, the product will be exchanged or replaced with the same or a similar product, depending on availability, at the discretion of ZETECH.

7. SERVICE PROCEDURE

To initiate a warranty claim, please obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number by submitting your claim. All BALLISTA crossbow warranty claims require a photo and proof of purchase. Claims submitted without photos will be rejected, and you will be asked to resubmit the claim with a photo. Before sending your crossbow for repair, please remove all accessory items. ZETECH is not liable for any damage to or loss of accessory items left on the crossbow. Items sent without an RMA number will be refused and returned to the sender. You are responsible for the shipping costs to return the crossbow to ZETECH LLC. If, upon examination, ZETECH LLC determines that the product is not covered by this limited warranty, you will be notified, and the product will be shipped back to you at ZETECH’s expense. There is no charge for inspection. Repairs not covered by this limited warranty can be provided at the then-current repair rates set by ZETECH. Do not return your product to a retail store or online seller unless directed to do so by ZETECH. For further assistance, please contact ZETECH Customer Service at (888) 625-0535. Please note that ZETECH will not be liable for any loss of or damage to a crossbow once it has been repaired and shipped out of our facility.

8. APPLICABLE STATE LAW

This limited warranty grants you specific legal rights, which may vary from state to state. The warranty is governed by the laws of the state of Florida, USA.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Your sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty is the repair or replacement of defective parts or workmanship. In no event shall ZETECH, its licensors, distributors, or suppliers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, expenses, lost profits, lost savings, business interruption, lost business information, property damage, personal injuries (including death), emotional distress, pain and suffering, or any other damage arising out of the use or inability to use the product, even if ZETECH, its licensors, distributors, or suppliers were advised of the possibility of such damages. You acknowledge that the purchase price paid for the product reflects this allocation of risk and exclusion of damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the above limitation may not apply to you. If the limitation of liability is not applicable, ZETECH’s liability for property damage shall not exceed the greater of $50,000 or the price paid for the product causing such damage.

10. WARRANTY LIMITATION PERIOD

All warranties implied by law are limited to the lesser of 1 year from the date of original purchase or the limitation period applicable in the state where the damage occurred, whichever period is shorter. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. Any action against ZETECH based on an alleged breach of warranty must be filed in court within 1 year of the claimed breach.

11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This document constitutes the entire agreement regarding the product warranty. If any part of this limited warranty (including the warranty disclaimers and limitations of ZETECH’s liability) is deemed void, unenforceable, or illegal, the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely aligns with the original intent. The remaining provisions of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect. ZETECH does not provide any other warranty beyond the terms of this limited warranty. No agent, employee, or salesman of ZETECH, its licensors, distributors, or suppliers, nor any person employed by the retail dealer or seller from whom you purchased the product, is authorized to modify, extend, or waive the terms of this limited warranty. Any statements, representations, or promises made by anyone else at any time are unenforceable against ZETECH.

12. SAFETY INFORMATION

Before using the product, please carefully read and follow all safety information and instructions provided with your crossbow. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or damage to you or your crossbow.
