The standard configuration of the Ballista BAT crossbow doesn’t include 150lbs limbs, but the BAT Reverse model comes with 150lbs limbs as standard. We recommend buying the BAT Reverse if you’re looking for a crossbow with more power, especially when hunting.
However, if you’ve already bought the Ballista BAT crossbow and are not looking to buy the Reverse model, you do have the option to switch out the limbs. Here’s what you would need to get from our crossbow store:
*note that the products listed above are only compatible with the Ballista BAT crossbow model.
To guide you through the process, we have a tutorial on how to replace the limbs on the Ballista BAT crossbow.
Though this is an available option, we usually suggest opting for the BAT Reverse if you’re looking for a more powerful crossbow. Its higher draw weight is more suitable for the crossbow’s function. Plus, buying the BAT Reverse from our crossbow store is more cost-effective than buying the BAT crossbow and additional components separately.
That said, the customization option remains a solution for those who already own a Ballista BAT regular crossbow.
