My Old Man gifted me a BAT Reverse for Xmas (2024), because I live in the city and target shooting (anything) is my escape, and I’m a dad now and can’t just dip out and do my thing on a whim anymore (worth it btw… girl dad x2 life is humbling for sure, but so rad). Plus, there’s a brood of coyotes that don’t miss many meals here in the Kessler Park area of Dallas that, and based on the claw marks on my fence and the whining in the alley when I take this parlor dog outside for a midnight leak, there’s little doubt they’re intent on turning it into coyote scat. Long story short, I’ve taken it on my last two South Flexas whitetail hunts, and after bagging a big boi each time, I’ve taken the BAT Reverse out to the stand instead of that .308 medicine… full pass through w the lighted knock hunting bolts on a proper old/big doe at 25 yds (Rage broad heads that radly match the orange components on the c-bow pistol btw 🤌🏼)—total devastation, fell at 20 yds and never moved again. Similarly, a small but respectable buck in Feb. at 35 yds w same type of bolt and unwittingly the exact same already-rib-dinged Rage b-head. No pass through, but total devastation again. Fell at ~20 yds without even last rigors. These Ballista BAT Reverses are not the flaccid crossbow pistols we ‘80s babies used to order out of the back of Boy’s Life Magazines back in the days of Peak American Childhoods ™️, listed next to the quail egg + incubator package deal… like, not at all. Speaking of quail, it’s so quiet when shooting that it didn’t even phase the covey that happened to be under my blind when deleting that doe—two quail got snuffed too at ~5 yds, almost straight down from ~10’ verticality… for science (or smthg). As accurate as they are, can’t recommend using Rage b-heads on those little nerd-birds though, at least if you’re wanting to delete then eat. Also, mine is rigged with the L-shaped telescoping stock, bottom picatinny w the choice fore grip, the junior varsity red/green dot, and the hunting bolts w the white fletching. Spend the MFn money w confidence. All 5 of my boys that had been spittin venom at me for wanting to try to get a toy c-bow bloody bought one while standing there watching me sight it in before before even taking that doe. These things are silly (in the gnar way, not the disappointing “you’ve gotta switch to a Blackout kind of way 💆🏻♂️). I’ve since screwed the bipod on it too and it will literally split bolts at 25 yds… I have multiple vids. Also, my 7-yr old and my 5-yr old daughters each bullseye’d their first shots ever (with anything beyond a squirt gun) at 35 & 30 yds, respectively—proud father moments 🥹. Just get one y’all. They’re literally like 8” wide when caaacked, and they bring the heat… those two deer fell nearer & expired sooner than the bucks I helped shuffle off this mortal coil w the .308 custom earlier in the morning of each Reverse BAT deletion too btw. And the pull weight! JFC, I’m 5’10/140 lbs and it’s stupidly easy even for me and my twatly wrists & musculature… the draw length is a couple inches longer than one might expect, but when it doesn’t matter. Oh yeah, I had to put the string back on in the field due to the limbs hitting the sides of the archery shooting window when carried away Raging the aforementioned quail, and with that field press it took a jack-🫏 like me maybe 90 seconds to accomplish. It’s just too sick not to be the next thing that angers your wife… trusss, just do it… DO IT. [Alluring Ballista-laden deletion pics of everything described above upon naysayer request btw] 🫡 🏴☠️
This crossbow is every bit as powerful and accurate as advertised very happy with my purchase would definitely recommend
I can't wait to shoot it
This unit is 5 stars love shooting it .. Also customer service is great I’m going to buy a hawkwing when they get in stock this unit is very compact easy to transport .. no complaints about it I do see a lil string wear but i literally shot it about 60 times and dont see it being a problem ..
I bought the reverse Bat with the fish bundle . I prob have $700 in so far because I picked up the red/green reflex sight for it . I haven’t tried bow fishing yet but it has so much power for what it is & I’m certain that it will deliver .
Such great quality build, quick delivery and excellent customer service. Highly recommend.
Purchased the bat reverse was pretty geeked about it but once I put it together the draw back for cooking the xbow will nit move at all I can pull the bowstring so not that assuming mechanism jammed hopefully I can get a replacement quick and not have to wait to much longer for a working product.
Hi Brandon,
We’re sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with your BAT Reverse — we completely understand how frustrating that must be.
If the cocking mechanism isn’t moving, it’s often related to setup or the anti-dry fire system, and in many cases it can be resolved quickly. We’d really like the opportunity to help you get it working properly.
Please reach out to our support team directly and, if possible, send a short video of the issue so we can assist you right away. We’re here to make sure you have a properly functioning product and a much better experience.

Ordered a refurbished unit and it arrived already needing a string as the one that I received was badly frayed.
Took over two weeks to deliver in USA.
Horrible customer service, replaced string but expects me to purchase the press to replace the string that should have been replaced perfore shipping to me.
I will NEVER do business with Ballista again. I really wanted to like this but the customer experience was the absolute worst.
Wedgee, we’re truly sorry to hear about your experience, as this is not the level of service we strive to provide.
All refurbished units are inspected and test-shot prior to shipment, and the string should meet our quality standards. If the string arrived frayed, we completely understand your frustration. As soon as the issue was reported, we provided a replacement string to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Certain models do require a press for safe string installation, as outlined in the product guidelines, since proper installation is critical for safety and performance.
Shipping times within the USA can occasionally be affected by carrier delays or high order volumes, though we understand how disappointing extended delivery times can be.
We genuinely value your feedback and would welcome the opportunity to review your case again to see if there is anything further we can do. Please feel free to reach out to us directly.

Why don't you put sling attachments on them for the price???
Hello!
Thank you for your feedback! We understand the importance of sling attachments for added comfort and convenience. A compatible sling for the BAT Reverse Crossbow with T-Stock will be available for purchase shortly. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts—it helps us improve our products.

I had concerns about the speed combined with the bolt weight being able tokill cleanly. There were concerns about using a 2 feather fleching, however these worries are diminishing little by little. Making my own arrows and adding a small twist with right wing turkey feathers gives me a 2 inch group at 30 yards while penitrating 6 inches into compressed card board. Starting to like this reverse draw bat.
