Better penetration. Due to the thin shaft diameter of
the Ballista Fractura, the arrow has better penetration than the standard arrow. Its micro-diameter (about half the surface area of larger diameter shafts) significantly reduces drag (friction) as the arrow slides through the target. This gives you an advantage when hunting big game.
Reduced wind drift. Smaller surface area of the shaft
reduces the effect of wind and side drift by almost 2 times. Therefore, the arrow’s stability in the flight is increased, and the accuracy of the shot is improved.
Better balance. The insert is tapered and half recessed into the shaft with the other half outside, which ensures a near perfect FOC. To achieve perfect balance of the arrow, you don’t need to install a variety of weights. Use the standard aluminum insert to shoot at targets, and the brass insert for hunting. All inserts at the wide part are compatible with any tips or broadheads on the market.
Bolt weight adjustment. You can replace the original
aluminum insert with a steel or brass one to increase the bolt’s weight. No difficult manipulations to increase the weight.
The tips are not glued in! Depending on your purposes, you can glue in aluminum tips (included) or use steel tips (not included). We always recommend using hot glue to easily replace inserts with heavier ones.
Smaller fletching. Micro-diameter shafts require
significantly less fletching to start spinning. It happens because the large-diameter ones have mass farther away from their axis. This makes using small diameter fletching on small diameter shafts possible and reduces the overall surface area of the arrow. As a result, the noise from the arrow's flight will be significantly reduced - an added advantage on the hunt.
